10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Feel Better Fitness Classes - Second Spring Session Feel Better Fitness – LAST CALL BEFORE FALL! Last call before fall! Feel Better Fitness classes will run for four additional weeks before we break for the summer.  You’re likely to see lots of familiar faces in each session, but don’t let that stop you if you haven’t taken a class before. The small group size and pace are just right for individual attention as needed; the environment is safe and friendly. And, we have fun! Classes are part discussion and part movement and are designed around the needs and abilities of the over-55 demographic. NASM-certified Senior Fitness Specialist Martha Ruch will coach you through gentle stretching and mobility movements; balance practice; resistance and strength training using elastic bands, light kettlebells and dumbbells; and general health and nutrition information. All exercises may be modified based on participants’ individual abilities. Chairs are provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.  The Upcoming Session will run on the following Tuesdays: May 28, June 4, 11 and 18. Classes are 55 minutes. Sign up for morning (10 am) or afternoon (4 pm). The cost for the 4-week program (4 classes) is $50.

Feel Better Fitness classes will run for four additional weeks before we break for the summer.  You’re likely to see lots of familiar faces in each session, but don’t let that stop you if you haven’t taken a class before. The small group size and pace are just right for individual attention as needed; the environment is safe and friendly. And, we have fun! Classes are part discussion and part movement and are designed around the needs and abilities of the over-55 demographic. NASM-certified Senior Fitness Specialist Martha Ruch will coach you through gentle stretching and mobility movements; balance practice; resistance and strength training using elastic bands, light kettlebells and dumbbells; and general health and nutrition information. All exercises may be modified based on participants’ individual abilities. Chairs are provided. Feel Better Fitness classes will run for four additional weeks before we break for the summer.  You’re likely to see lots of familiar faces in each session, but don’t let that stop you if you haven’t taken a class before. The small group size and pace are just right for individual attention as needed; the environment is safe and friendly. And, we have fun! Classes are part discussion and part movement and are designed around the needs and abilities of the over-55 demographic. NASM-certified Senior Fitness Specialist Martha Ruch will coach you through gentle stretching and mobility movements; balance practice; resistance and strength training using elastic bands, light kettlebells and dumbbells; and general health and nutrition information. All exercises may be modified based on participants’ individual abilities. Chairs are provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.  The Upcoming Session will run on the following Tuesdays: May 28, June 4, 11 and 18. Classes are 55 minutes. 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM	5th Grade Dance - 5th Grade Dance Join us for a 5th-grade dance celebration, where students will bid farewell to an unforgettable year and dance their way into 6th grade! It's a chance for our soon-to-be middle schoolers to come together, share memories, and forge new friendships before embarking on their next academic adventure.The $35 does include snacks and drinks. We also will have Holden Recreation staff members there that are certified to supervise the children. We are hoping this is a great night for 5th graders with lights, music, and fun little additions.  *Space is limited, but we are actively exploring options to accommodate as many children as possible.*

Water safety certification courses include Safety Training for Swim Coaches and Basic Water Rescue and fundamentals of diving, too.This course is a blended learning format, which means students must complete a portion of the class online, prior to the start of class. Participants will need access to a computer with internet in order to complete certain lessons (approx. 7-10hrs).WSI Candidates: Must be at least 16 years of age by the completion of the course date. Feel Better Fitness classes will run for four additional weeks before we break for the summer.  You’re likely to see lots of familiar faces in each session, but don’t let that stop you if you haven’t taken a class before. The small group size and pace are just right for individual attention as needed; the environment is safe and friendly. And, we have fun! Classes are part discussion and part movement and are designed around the needs and abilities of the over-55 demographic. NASM-certified Senior Fitness Specialist Martha Ruch will coach you through gentle stretching and mobility movements; balance practice; resistance and strength training using elastic bands, light kettlebells and dumbbells; and general health and nutrition information. All exercises may be modified based on participants’ individual abilities. Chairs are provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.  The Upcoming Session will run on the following Tuesdays: May 28, June 4, 11 and 18. Classes are 55 minutes.
